Deborah Degner
President, The Leadership Bridge
Before starting her company, Deborah “Deb” Degner spent over twenty years as a specialist in communications and stakeholder relations in the public and private sectors. She has held numerous leadership roles in multiple industries. Deb was a team lead at EnCana Oil & Gas in Dallas and served as a lead lobbyist for Noble Energy in Pennsylvania. She began her career in Washington, D.C., and worked for several federal and state elected officials.
Deb started her company, The Leadership Bridge, in 2016 and specializes in individual coaching and customized group leadership programs. Her focus areas are team dynamics, hard conversations, and conflict management. As a certified professional coach, she works with various clients, including executives, managers, trade associations, academic leaders, business owners and emerging leaders.
Deb is a Professional Certified Coach through the International Coach Federation and specializes in creating unique, energizing, and engaging training experiences. She values connection, fun and wisdom and manages all aspects of her business with this approach. Deb completed her undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin and received a master’s degree in Human Dimensions of Organizations at UT in December 2024. She lives in Fort Worth with her husband, Dennis, and their Goldendoodle, Gus. Their daughter, Madeline, is a junior at TexasA&M.
Tammie Davis
SVP, Simmons Bank
Tammie Davis is the senior vice president for community strategy and performance at Simmons Bank where she has the privilege of leading initiatives that optimize sales, service, and operational excellence across the community bank footprint. Davis has a demonstrated history of thriving in the financial services industry through developing strong relationships, making each day count, continually learning, looking for opportunities to grow, and training others along the way. Skilled in portfolio management, commercial lending, real estate lending, private banking, prospecting, sales, credit analysis, managing and coaching a commercial lending and deposit team, retail banking management, hiring quality teammates, approving loan packages, solution-oriented problem solving, strategic planning, community development, crisis management, customer service satisfaction, negotiating, meeting facilitation and public speaking. Tammie formerly served as a professional trainer in the financial services industry and has extensive non-profit leadership experience through planning, fundraising and vision casting. Davis is a former president and treasurer of The Junior League of Little Rock and has served extensively as a writer and speaker in Women's Ministries. She most recently served as Co-chair for The Heart Ball benefiting the American Heart Association.
JoBeth McElhanon
Lilias and Olive
JoBeth McElhanon is founder and chief celebrations officer of Lilias and Olive, a boutique event design firm. McElhanon is a native Arkansan and attended Baylor University and University of Central Arkansas. She earned a BS and MS in Dietetics and began her career as a registered dietician. After serving as president of Junior League of Little Rock, she spent nearly a decade in nonprofit leadership before becoming a first-time mom in her early 40s. JoBeth took a leap of faith to create her dream job of design and event planning, earning her recognition as one of the state’s top event and wedding planners. She lives by two mantras: “Live beautifully. Love extravagantly.” and “Try a lot of things and see what works.”
